How do you activate the power bricks in lego batman game? ?

how do you activate the power bricks in lego batman game? it says they are locked but i got 3 of them already.|||go to the batcave and activate the big computer screen. the power bricks from the hero side are listed under suit upgrades. they are active as soon as you buy them the bricks from the villian side are listed under extras and you have to select extra in the pause menu to turn them on.
