Why cant marvel make good video games? I mean look at batman aa, they could make a great spider-man game.?

I am getting Batman Arkum Asylum for PS3, which other 2 games should I get?

2 games i have an option from are: COD WAW, FEAR 2, RE5, GTA 4, Streetfighter 4, keep in mind these are the only games which i have the option due to the special offer|||i guess gta4 but i wouldnt get cod waw i would get cod mw2, but realy you should Uncharted2 it is the best game ever.|||Call of duty and street fighter will offer you more bang for the buck simply because of their online multiplayer. Fear 2 met with mediacore ratings. RE 5 finishes and thats it, no going back. GTA 4 is good, but again, once its done, its done.|||F.E.A.R 2 and also World at War. War at War still has around 15000 people playing online, however I don't think many people play F.E.A.R 2 online anymore. However, F.E.A.R 2's campaign is awesome.|||FEAR2 %26amp; Streetfighter 4. I bought the game Batman Arkham Asylum, and while I was on the way home I was thinking "I wonder if that one dude is gonna be in it?" I can't figure out who this guy is, but he was in a Batman cartoon when I was a kid, and he was always wearing a black and red/orange suit, the circles were red, and it was covering his entire face. I'm little know about where Batman/Bruce Wayne lives but I don't familiar with Arkham City. I am trying to research the location of Arkham City -- I know it is a fictional city in DC Universe but where is that? I loved the Batman: Arkham Asylum game and would love to find a batman story similar to the game's story. I've heard about Batman Arkham Asylum: A serious place . . . and don't know whether or not it is like the video game. Any help on if this graphic novel is like the game and any other graphic novels similar to the game is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!|||The Arkham Asylum graphic novel is nothing like the game. It's pretty well regarded, though I personally thought it was just decent. I can't think of one that's like the game though. The best Batman crime mystery would easily be The Long Halloween, one of the best Batman stories ever told. Also coming out in November is the complete hardcover for The Black Mirror, the best Batman story of recent years in my opinion. It's 20 bucks and well worth picking up.|||Well , DC came out with a mini-prequel series ( 5 issues ) to lead up to Arkham city. It's actually pretty good , I enjoyed them.

Should i get the nintendo dsi or a bunch of great games for ps3?

Everyboy has like a dsi, but i don't want to waste money when i already have a nice ps3 already and a psp, so should i just get grreat games like batman arkham asylum , uncharted 2, and ratchet and clank, or should i just get the dsi?|||I might be biased but the DSi games are great fun. especially if you get an R4i card. If you get one of them you can play snes, nes, gameboy, etc. they house a tiny micro sd card that you can put unlimited ds games on (depending on the size of the card). but in terms of game quality, the ps3 would be better, also the psp. but the dsi games are great, I'm not saying they're bad, but the ps3 is better than that. I hope this helps ya. Oh, and you don't need games as far as the DSi is concerned. Is anyone else excited about the new Lego games like Indiana Jones and Batman for various game...?

...systems?

Looks like they are working on Spiderman and others as well...|||I had a great time with my husband and daughter playing Lego Star Wars. Lego versions make everything hilarious!! I totally loved destroying guys and collecting the 1-lego-unit "coins".



I like batman but I'm not overly excited for that game. Of course it will probably still be loads of fun being legos and all. But, I can't wait for the Indiana Jones one. I'm such a fan. I'm looking forward to the new movie and looking forward to the game. Yey!!|||Absolutely. The Lego Star Wars series has proven both successful, and surprisingly entertaining. Looking at recent issues of EGM and Game Informer, both the Indiana Jones and Batman Lego adaptations look to be solid titles.



However, I only feel that these games would best be complimentary to adaptations that are "non-lego." For instance, the Lego Indiana Jones game will be appearing on Wii, but a non-Lego, brand new Indiana Jones adventure will be appearing on the Xbox 360 and PS3, and looks stunning as well. Playing the Lego version will only make this new title feel even more exciting, I'm sure.



To offer a bit of skepticism to this, of course, video game adaptations of movies rarely turn out well. It's no surprise these projects were announced alongside the new Indiana Jones' film being in production. And the way it always works is that developers for these adaptations are given extremely constricting deadlines, and the games flop more often. If these developers are given enough breathing room (and room for creativity,) then the PS3/Xbox 360 versions are bound to be excellent. As time has shown, though, this is rarely the case (so rare, I can't even think of an exception).



So in this sense, since the Lego version features some familiar stories and settings to us (from the original trilogy,) we can be sure to look forward to this one. Them's my two cents.|||I always loved the star wars one and my little brother just canot get enough of it. Then they announced batman and i was impressed. I know working on lego 3d things is really fun so they have alot of fun developing it then we get the fun of playing it.



However a spiderman game is always hard to make i mean the physics of web slinging and all that just make it really hard to make. I think they can do it but i dont know how well it will compete with fellow lego games....|||I _loved_ the Lego Star Wars games. I hope these have a similar style of gameplay and comedy. I've actually been trying to not read too much about them so that it's all a fun surprise when they come out and I buy them :)



Playing coop was really fun, so I am really looking forward to another light hearted coop game to play with my family...

1) Uncharted 2 (or 1, it was awesome also): One of the most visually impressive games I have played on any console. Get it if you like games like Prince of Persia or Tomb Raider.





2) MW2: If you like shooters then this is a must play. Multiplayer is always fun, and theres a map pack out soon! (Or did it release already?). One of those games you can always come back to and have fun while you are waiting for the next game to come out.





3) God of War 3: Amazing visuals, really fun game. Get it if you enjoyed the others, or like gratuitous violence and gore. :P





MEH) Batman AA: I loved it, but it was lacking on some points. The combat system was AWESOME. The stealth parts in the game were kind of lacking. Definitely a rental, not a purchase.





MEH) Infamous: Don't waste your time. Just rent it if you really want to play it. Loses it's appeal after a week. Play GTA4 instead. 1000x better game there. :)|||Mw2 is a must have, and is a great 1st person shooter to have. It has a cool interesting storyline too. Its a bit pricey though, think about it, look up reviews and such on the Web.

As a surprise I'm getting my boyfriend the new batman game and I'm going to pre order it I just don't know from where. If I pre order from Best Buy you can play as Robin and get bonus maps I think two maybe. Would Batman's cape work in real life as a glider?

So, I was playing the new Batman game (it is very good to all you gamers out their, made with the Gears of War engine A.K.A. Unreal) and i wondered if Batman would really be able to fly. I wouldn't of ever thought it would work, but then I saw the resemblance to Da Vinci's glider and Batman's cape while he's flting and thought "Maybe this is possible,". So, if you had some experience with hang gliders and the proper materials, would this be possible?|||One of the extra materials on Batman Begins' DVD describes Batman's memory cloth, and they show a footage of experts using the glider similar to that to glide from a cliff and it looked it could work to me.|||There's actually been a tv show (I think it was on the history channel) that went through all of Batman's toys and talked about if they were actually plausible or not. If I remember correctly than the cape could actually be used in real life because it doesn't make him fly it just makes him glide.|||I would think that it would work as a glider if it was somehow stablized with something, like a glider is.

Like why hasn't game devs planned to make a really good Batman Beyond game something similar to Batman: AA or why hasn't Hollywood made a Batman Beyond movie similar to Batman Begins/The Dark Knight? Theres a lot of potential for movies and games to be made for the future Batman.|||Batman Beyond is like 10 years old %26amp; had a short-lived comic series.





But you are in luck, as they are planning to make a new Batman Beyond comic series. It will be "alternate dimension" since Dick Grayson took over for Bruce Wayne instead of Terry %26amp; the technology/setting isn't super-sci-fi like BB was. That or BB will be completely revamped to fit with current continuity.





If the comic is successful enough, you can at least hope for a new cartoon series %26amp; at most, a new animated movie. A live-action movie is unlikely. About 50% of comic readers aren't pleased wtih having Dick as Batman, so they'd have similar hostilities with Terry.|||I would like to see a Dark Knight Returns movie before Batman Beyond, but I think that would be cool, too. My boyfriend is annoying me to death.. can anyone help him find where he can find the Cryptographic Sequencer for Batman on Xbox 360? i have seen various posts of how to use it but none to actually state where to find it?!|||You get the Sequencer from the Warden after you rescue him later in the game.|||lol. first off tell him to put down the controller and spend some time with you. the cryptographc sequencer is one of the last gadgets he will get in the game, and comes through natural story progression. it is a cannot miss item so don't worry about it, he will get it.

MARK HAMILL MAKES MY DAY HAPPY.|||I don't know. I have no interest in the Batman game honestly. And I do plan on buying FF Dissida for my PSP.|||you should have bought batman instead its more fun and it is a game you can play more than once ff really isn't|||I honestly have no clue what game you are talking about, but Batman: Arkham Asylum is THE best Batman game ever and is one of my favorite, if not my VERY favorite game ever. I am a huge fan of Kevin Conroy (he is THE Batman in my opinion...Christian Bale is nothing compared to him). I also think Mark Hamill portrays THE best Joker (I know it's sad and all that Heath Ledger died, but I feel a lot of people only liked him as Joker because he did die). The Joker's lines in Batman: AA are very well-written and very hilarious!





Voice acting aside, there are so many elements of the game that make it great. You have to be stealthy and get through certain parts of the game without being seen, or else someone is killed. The fighting system is just plain awesome. It's easy to learn (it's only one button to press) and Batman kicks ***! You can also upgrade your gadgets and armor. Another fun aspect of the game is figuring out the riddles that the Riddler has you to do.





Anyway, I don't want to spoil too much, but this game is awesome. My husband and I have it on the XBox 360 (and it looks dadgum beautiful). We have a 360 and a PS3, but decided to get the 360 version for achievement points. It makes it worthwhile to try to do everything in the game.





Oh, and yes, you made a mistake, in my personal opinion. This game is too awesome to pass up.|||LOL....

|||Batman, hands down. Force Unleashed is half the game Arkham Asylum is. Batman has tons of replay value, the story is excellent, and the combat is some of the best for it's genre.|||Get Batman, it was way better and longer than the force unleashed. I got bored with star wars after I beat it in like 6 hours and haven't touched it since. Batman is fun butt kicking action that has good replay value.

What villains are in the video game Batman: Arkham Asylum?

I don't have the game yet, and the only villains I've seen so far (in trailers, though) were the Joker, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, Bane, and Killer Croc. I kind of expected to see a bit more main villains in there (other than the Joker) such as the Riddler and Two-Face. Do those two make an appearance in the game? If so, are they one of those villains that Batman actually gets to fight/talk with?





And is the game worth buying?|||im gonna say you want a review and a review u shall get!





first off the game is bad-azz! most of batman's rogue gallery is present in the game, but only through bios ( readable description of the villain).


The ones you get to fight/ interact with are joker( the final battle is unexpected but awesome), harley quinn, poison ivy,bane, scarecrow ( best villain in the game by my opinion), killer croc, zsasz, and clayface ( u dont really fight him but you can see him in his cell and he will impersonate gordon, the warden, and security guards).

You can visit two-face's cell. the riddler speaks to u via radio throughout the game so you can answer his riddles but u never see him. and ra's al ghul is in the game, but he's dead ( you can see his dead body in the morgue but once u finish the game and go back it will be gone).

you dont really fight killer croc but the "battle" with him is suspenseful|||The game is absolutely amazing. Definitely buy it! The villian who steals the spotlight is obviously the Joker. You have a number of encounters with Harley Quinn, Scarecrow (probably the best parts are with him) and Poison Ivy. Bane and Killer Croc add some excitement as boss battles. But pretty much every other villian in Batman history is just mentioned or you can find things around Arkham that pay homage to these villians. Was a little surprised Two-Face didn't make an appearance but the game was a hell of a ride and anyone who loves action games should pick this up. Game of the Year?|||Spoilers!!. The scarescrow plays a big part. Victor zsasz is also in it. he's the guy who cuts tally marks into his body. The riddler is kind of in it. he has escaped prior to this and has hacked into your comlink and sets you off to find all of his riddles. when you get them all including killing all of the jokers laughing teeth his last communication is funny. if you find all of the bigoraphies it talks about all of the villains. joker holds the scarface puppet and does his voice. at end, batman goes after two face, but don't see him.|||Just the villains you listed.

It allowed the writers to have full liberty with what they did with the game.

Call of duty 4: Modern Warfare has a fantastic storyline. The multiplayer is pretty outdated, but its cheap these days. I'd say worth the campaign for sure.



A remake of the original Halo game, Halo: Combat Evolved is being made and set for release soon. Considering the original Halo was the most influential FPS of all time, i highly recommend that.



If your into Role Playing Games (RPG) which is where you start from scratch and explore a huge open world, i recommend Fallout: New vegas. Great fun exploring a nuclear wasteland, and its a LONG game, sodon'tt worry about finishing it quickly. Another RPG coming out late this year is Skyrim (i think that's the last game you mentioned), which is like a medievalFantasyy game. It follows its predecessors, Morrowind and Oblivion in the Elder Scrolls series. Its gonna be huge. AND VERY EPIC. YOU-MUST-GET-THIS-GAME! Seriously.



Good job getting BF3 and pre-ordering MW3, i would have highly recommended those two.



Halo 3 has an intense campaign which is great fun. Multiplayer is also good fun with friends.



Regarding Batman Arkham games, i haven't played them personally, but i have heard EXTREMELY GOOD REVIEWS on them. So im not expecting it to be bad that's for sure.

Is there a story prior to Batman Arkham Asylum?

I just don't much about Batman or most of the characters and their personal bios.

Is it a stand-alone Batman game, or does it have ties story-wise to like other Batman games, movies, comics, etc.?|||Arkam asylum is a real place and you hear about it in the comics and they sometimes mention it in the cartoons or movies|||While the story is technically in its own universe, it is based on the 90's animated series that the voice actors starred in. There are elements from the comics too, but the prevalent inspiration is the Animated Series. It's only an inspiration though, the connection is sound but not tight.|||its not directly related to any Batman Movie, comics or cartoons. but the basic idea is more on the common Batman theme

Personally I think superman would be pretty boring. Due to the fact that he is pretty much invincible.Though, I do like superman I don't think he would do to well. Is it Nintendo that declines these games or is it the game companies that don't belong to a certain game console company like Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo. Last time I checked there were plenty of Batman games on older Nintendo Consoles. What makes the Wii so different?|||Nintendo is seen as a console for younger players. That said, most darker or gorier games don't make it onto the console. Also, it can be that there was simply no way to integrate the Wii controllers into the gameplay of such games.|||The reason you don't see games like Arkham Asylum and Enslaved on the Wii is because Nintendo has marketed their console to appeal to casual gamers. The majority of Wii owners don't want to play games like that, or don't have the skill level. I'm surprised that they have some of the games they do, like Monster Hunter 3 or RE4. On top of that, the Wii can't support the same graphics quality as the PS3 and 360, so most developers don't want to spend the extra time downgrading for the weaker console.|||The controls are much different on the Wii and the graphics are not as powerful on the Wii. For instance MW2 has many killstreaks and alot going on at once and the Wii's microprocessor would not be able to handle the sheer amount of happenings going on at once. How can I fix a big ring around my Batman game that got scratched on when my 360 was flipped upright?

I was playing Batman about a month ago and my brother took my 360 and flipped it over upright with the game still inside. It made a loud scratching noise inside and when I took it out, there was a big ring around the outside part of the disk. I have tried a disc cleaner and that didn't work. So now I am wondering if there's any other way that you know will clean it?|||You can't.|||I don't know any other ways to clean it but if you purchased a warranty on the game when you bought it then you can get a brand new game.

Is Batman Arkham Asylum one of the best games this year?

Why are video game creators for the Batman games so afraid of putting Robin in the games ? I understand why he's not in the Batman movies (cause he's just a baby) but so scared to put him to help out batman in Batman Arkham asylum and Arkham City ? Some say that putting in Robin the games will lighten up batman and it won't be as dark as alot of people like it ...but I disagree . They can make Robin just as dark as Batman if they choose too .
